TGV introduced its Paris – Luxembourg network in 2007, providing high speed links between Paris and the north-east of France, Luxembourg and even some cities in Germany.
10 June 2007 marked the first journey of the Paris-Luxembourg TGV network which has cut journey times on a considerable number of routes by a third or even half. It has also provided new direct high-speed links between several cities.
Paris is now only 2 hours 5 minutes from Luxembourg, and is closer to Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Zurich. In the north east of France, 20 cities now have direct rail links with the capital.
With five daily return journeys available, the Paris-Luxembourg TGV network brings together 37 million Europeans!
